District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier welcomes carol singers to the district hall

Carol singers from the Catholic parish of St. Martinus Kornwestheim placed the blessing "20*C+M+B+24" ("Christus mansionem benedicat", meaning "Christ bless this house") at the entrance to the district building on Thursday (January 4) in the footsteps of the Three Wise Men.

A diverse group of children and adults, dressed in colorful costumes and crowns, gather outdoors. Some hold bright stars on sticks. The atmosphere is cheerful, with participants representing a festive celebration, likely connected to a holiday tradition. The setting features modern architecture in the background.

District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier welcomed the carol singers and said: "Thank you very much for bringing the blessing to the district hall and thus on behalf of all the inhabitants of the district."

This year, the carol singers are collecting under the motto "Together for our earth - in Amazonia and worldwide". The focus of the Dreikönigssingen 2024 campaign is the preservation of creation and the respectful treatment of people and nature. District Administrator Allgaier presented the Kornwestheim carol singers with a donation and district gifts as a thank you for their commitment.
