"Culture for all" is the motto of this year's inclusion conference in the Ludwigsburg district. The event at Scala Ludwigsburg on Tuesday, November 7, from 5 to 7.30 pm, is open to all interested parties. An exciting cultural program awaits the audience. Part of it is comedian Martin Fromme, who will talk about inclusion in the run-up to the event - and about the question of whether it's okay to make jokes about disability.
Mr. Fromme, you make fun of your own handicap in your program "A Happy Hand". Is that allowed?
Is that allowed? Only people without a disability ever ask that. The question doesn't even arise for people with a disability. It's a matter of course. And I deal with the subject with a large pinch of self-irony and without the famous index finger that digs into the brain. People are allowed to laugh here, without shame, it's a case of "laughing at each other".
Do you think that our society is too uptight when dealing with the topic of disability? Do we need more humor?
Humor breaks taboos and overcomes barriers. When I leave the stage, you can be sure that those present will "breathe more easily through their pants" when it comes to the subject of disability. Put your hand on it...
In short, concise words: What does inclusion mean to you?
Participation. Without exception. So also in terms of humor.
Info: The inclusion conference on November 7 at Scala Ludwigsburg is free and open to the public. If you would like to attend, please register by e-mail at elke.dobusch[at]landkreis-ludwigsburg.de.
