For two hours, everything revolved around personal discussions, honest insights and opportunities for direct entry. Without formal hurdles, without long application processes - but with a genuine exchange at eye level.
"We wanted to get employers and applicants talking to each other in an uncomplicated way - and that's exactly what we achieved," says Anche Hagenbruch, Head of the Company Advice Department at the Ludwigsburg District Job Center. "Many participants emphasized how valuable it is to be able to talk to the institutions in person."
Diverse employers from the region
Around 25 interested people had registered in advance for the speed dating event to get to know regional employers. Among those taking part were: Albert-Knapp-Heim, Gerok- und Geschwister-Cluss-Heim, Evangelische Heimstiftung, Pflegeheim Sonnenfeld, RKH Ludwigsburg, Diakoniestation Ludwigsburg, Häusliche Krankenversorgung I. Zeller.
The participating care facilities took the opportunity to present vacancies and meet potential new employees directly. At the same time, applicants were given the opportunity to find out about a variety of career paths in the care sector and talk to their future employers as equals.
"Speed dating is more than just a placement format," says Hagenbruch. "It shows how attractive and close to people the nursing professions are - and that it's worth taking this path."
