AVL Will Move to a New Location in Mid-November – Restrictions on Hours of Operation and Services Offered

The Ludwigsburg District Waste Recycling Company, LLC (AVL) will relocate its headquarters within Hindenburgstraße in Ludwigsburg in mid-November. The move will take place from Hindenburgstraße 30 to the Jägerhofquartier at Hindenburgstraße 49.

A modern building with large glass windows is set behind a brick wall. The entrance, flanked by red bricks, features door numbers "30" and "30/1". A pathway leads to the door, with green grass visible on one side. (Text KI generiert)

Closures and Restrictions at Some Recycling Centers and Landfills

The BURGHOF Plus recycling center in Vaihingen/Enz-Horrheim and the AM FROSCHGRABEN construction waste recycling center in Schwieberdingen will be closed from Friday afternoon through Saturday, as the weighing system will be unavailable due to the move. The landfills in Schwieberdingen and Vaihingen/Enz-Horrheim will also be closed to deliveries from commercial customers on Friday afternoon.

All other recycling centers will remain open—though with a limited range of accepted items: All free-of-charge recyclables will be accepted, such as paper, packaging, wooden furniture, scrap metal, old electronic devices, batteries, used clothing, CDs, corks, and PU cans. Upon presentation of the recycling center card, bulky waste and plastics will also be accepted. From Friday afternoon through Saturday, recyclable materials subject to a fee will not be accepted. Specifically, these include renovation waste, outdoor wood, construction debris, and tires.

The Warenwandel secondhand goods store in Ludwigsburg is not affected by the move. Operations there will continue as usual during the move.

AVL is working around the clock to minimize disruptions as much as possible and to fully restore its usual services as quickly as possible.
