The offer is aimed at all relatives from the Ludwigsburg district who care for people in need of care at home. The carers often look after their family members around the clock with great commitment and loving care, putting their own needs and wishes on the back burner. The physical and emotional strain is often only recognized at a late stage. The purpose of the offer is to give the family members providing care a well-deserved break, for example for a vacation trip, attending a family celebration or a few relaxing days at home. The places are not available for a transition to long-term care or for further care required at short notice after a stay in hospital.
