Venue: Galerie Wendelinskapelle, Marktstraße 2, 7126 Marbach am Neckar

In this exhibition, the artist Barbara Weiland from Tyrol presents her embroidery art "WeibsBilder" in the Wendelinskapelle gallery in Marbach.
"I grew up with needle and thread," says Barbara Weiland about herself. Her voluntary work with historical papers in the archives of the silver town of Schwaz as part of her work on women's biographies gave her the impetus to return to her old knowledge in 2018. Since then, she has created numerous StickArt pictures based on old sheets from fashion magazines - which she deliberately calls "WeibsBilder". Even though the term "woman" has been greatly devalued in modern times, it actually stands for a noble, beautiful woman and her work with needle and thread adorns women.

Opening hours: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays: 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 2.30 p.m. - 6 p.m.; Wednesdays and Saturdays: 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Organizer: Monika Schreiber, Galerie Wendelinskapelle, Marbach am Neckar

How to achieve your professional and private goals

Do you have a goal but don't know how to achieve it? You also wanted to do more sport? And of course you should get out into the fresh air more often? That's three goals at once!

But don't worry, you can learn to achieve your goals. If you find yourself in the 3 points, then the "archery method!" is suitable. Why should archery, of all things, help you to achieve your goals? It's simple: in archery, you go through the same phases again and again, just as every goal achievement project is divided into several logical successive phases. And in the archery method, there is a corresponding phase in the shooting process for each phase of goal achievement.

After clarifying your goal, you will be taught the basics of intuitive archery and together we will show you how you can apply the art of archery to your professional or personal goal. In this way, you will have laid the foundation for achieving your 3 goals.

Are you curious? Then come to this mini-webinar and/or try it out for yourself on the course on 10.05. | 16.00 - 17.30 | "Achieving goals in work and leisure.".

Speaker: Christine Volk-Uhlmann, experiential educator, archery trainer, supporter

Understanding and appreciating your own feelings and using them for your own growth

There is a veritable explosion of knowledge in all areas of life. We live in an age of guidebooks and yet we are increasingly at a loss, feeling helpless and overwhelmed by all the knowledge and good advice.

  • Why is that?
  • ...and...
  • Do you know that we humans are emotional beings?
  • Do you know that we have basic psychological needs to which our feelings point us?

In our culture, great power is attributed to thinking.
If we do not know our emotions and do not learn how to deal with them, then we cannot use these important natural tools for self-realisation. Only if we know what we are striving for and what we really need can we take good care of ourselves in life. We women in particular are often accused of emotionality instead of appreciating it as a power. In this input, you will be encouraged to use this power.

Speaker: Annette Goldschmitt-Helfrich, psychological psychotherapist and trainer for group dynamics

Organizer:Regional Office for Vocational Training, Ludwigsburg
