Dementia Awareness Week (September 18–27)
We are pleased to announce that from September 18, 2026, through September 27, 2026, the Ludwigsburg district will once again host numerous interesting events, informational evenings, and a variety of activities.
The kickoff event for Dementia Awareness Week will take place on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Ludwigsburg District Office.
In her presentation titled “Dementia—(Not) Just a Matter of Age,” Christina Kuhn, executive director of Demenz Support Stuttgart and leader of a self-help group for people with memory loss, will explain that dementia is much more than just a disease of old age. She will discuss what life is like with a dementia diagnosis, available support options, and how to live a fulfilling life with dementia.
The event is free of charge.
