In a relaxed atmosphere, information will be provided on district-wide and local integration programs, as well as opportunities for vocational training and re-entry into the workforce. At the same time, the participating organizations will engage with visitors in discussions about current needs, challenges, ideas, and wishes. Among other things, successful female migrants will introduce themselves and share their experiences.
Children are welcome to attend. Beverages and snacks will be provided. Registration is not required.
The Concept Behind the Event Format
The “Migrant Women Get a Head Start” initiative aims to support women with a migration background in their social and professional integration by highlighting opportunities and possibilities and offering suggestions for shaping their professional futures. The target audience is primarily the migrant women themselves, but also government agencies, institutions, associations, and organizations that serve as key local contacts for women with a migration background and can provide significant impetus.
