In the first part of the training, the nutritional recommendations for children of different ages are presented. Participants will learn which portion sizes and food groups should be offered at the various meals of the day. They will also be given tips and ideas on how to put the recommendations into practice and how learning about new foods and preparing them together can be an experience for the children with all their senses.
In the second part of the training, participants learn in the training kitchen what to look out for in terms of hygiene and occupational safety. They also
learn about cutting techniques and methods for guiding children. The participants prepare child-friendly and sustainable recipes for snacks,
spreads, main courses and desserts that are easy to implement in everyday daycare. So that they can then try out the ideas with the children,
they will of course also receive a collection of recipes.
