The WSRS advisors offer consultations in German, English, Croatian and Serbian; other languages can be requested if required: They provide initial information on all questions relating to arriving, living and working in the district of Ludwigsburg and, depending on the issue, refer people to specific institutions such as the employment agency, recognition offices or chambers of commerce. These include the areas of "learning German", "job search", "recognition of foreign school and professional qualifications", "residence", "training" and "studying and living". Companies receive support in recruiting and integrating foreign skilled workers as well as in establishing and expanding a welcoming culture.
The dates of the open consultation hours 2020 in the Ludwigsburg district hall, Hindenburgstr. 40, 71638 Ludwigsburg, conference zone, room 405 (exception: room 412 for the appointment on February 5): February 5, March 11, April 22, June 24, July 29, September 23, November 11 and December 16. Special advice for women will also take place on May 20 at the Kon-taktstelle Frau und Beruf Ludwigsburg Region Stuttgart, Königsallee 43, 71638 Ludwigsburg.
The team also offers information and advice for foreign skilled workers at the Welcome Center Stuttgart, which was founded in October 2014. It is a joint contact point of the state capital Stuttgart and Wirtschaftsförderung Region Stuttgart GmbH for the Stuttgart Region Skilled Workers Alliance. Small and medium-sized companies are also advised at the Welcome Center Stuttgart or the advice is provided on site at the companies. In addition to the district of Ludwigsburg, there are also consultation hours in the districts of Böblingen, Esslingen, Göppingen and Rems-Murr.
The Welcome Service Region Stuttgart aims to attract international skilled workers to the Stuttgart Region and support them in their arrival and integration. The WSRS also supports small and medium-sized companies in the recruitment and integration of skilled workers from abroad.
