What is important for single parents!

From April to July, the district's "Help for Single Parents" department offers a varied program of seminars.

The three events for single parents are entitled "And who's looking after me? - Integrating relaxation into everyday life!", "Sleep child sleep... or not?" and "Weekend with dad, aunt or grandma - how to arrive back home". Participation in the seminars is free of charge and all events take place online.

The seminar "And who's looking after me? - Integrating relaxation into everyday life?" kicks off on Tuesday, April 27, from 3 to 4.30 pm. Ms. Sonja Ohren, a member of staff at the Ludwigsburg District Office and relaxation educator, will show participants how they can integrate small relaxation sessions into their everyday lives with little effort. In addition to a short theoretical block, the course will focus on areas of relaxation in everyday life that have fallen out of focus due to daily stress. Effective, short breathing exercises and an active relaxation technique round off the seminar.

The second seminar entitled "Schlaf Kindlein schlaf... oder doch nicht?" will take place on Tuesday, June 8, from 3 to 4.30 p.m. and will be held by Ms. Anita Huttelmaier, educator, parent and sleep consultant 1001kindernacht®.

Are you tired and exhausted? Your little or big darling just can't get to sleep?

Then this seminar is just right for you. You will receive information about your child's sleep development and tips on how to improve the situation. Frequently asked questions such as "Why does my child cry when it's supposed to sleep?", "When will my child finally sleep through the night?" or "What do my child and I need in order to sleep well?" will be addressed and answered.

The third seminar will take place on Tuesday, July 13, from 3 to 4.30 pm. The speaker will be Ms. Ruth Farian, parenting consultant, practice for emotional first aid, bonding through touch. The seminar, entitled "Weekend with dad, aunt or grandma - how to get back home", aims to show single parents a way to welcome their child back home after a weekend visit when they have experienced a lot and don't know what to do with all their feelings and thoughts. How can I support my child well? Which rituals can prove effective? There will be enough space for your own questions.
