From April 14 to 24: Cleaning the tunnels in the district - Temporary closure to traffic during the work

The road maintenance staff will be cleaning the tunnels in the Ludwigsburg district from April 14 to 24: the work includes cleaning the tunnel roof and walls with a special machine, cleaning the drainage systems and maintaining the lighting systems and technical equipment.

A high-reach maintenance vehicle is spraying water on a tunnel ceiling. Bright lights illuminate the scene, revealing wet surfaces from the water. The setting is dark and industrial, emphasizing the focus on cleaning or maintenance work being performed.

For traffic safety reasons, the tunnels have to be temporarily closed to public traffic during the work:

- Tunnel B27a near Stammheim in the night from April 14 to 15. The work will begin at 7 p.m. and will be completed by 5 a.m. at the latest. The detour will be via the state road 1143 and the Kornwestheim through road.

- The B10 gallery near Zuffenhausen in the night from April 15 to April 16. The work will start at 9 p.m. and will be completed by 5 a.m. at the latest.

- Hochbergfeld tunnel in the course of state road 1100 near Großbottwar in the night from April 20 to 21. The work will begin at 8.00 p.m. and will be completed by 5.00 a.m. at the latest. The detour will be via Höpfigheim and Mundelsheim.

- Tunnel Bergkelter in the course of the state road 1125 near Murr in the night from April 21 to 22. The work will begin at 8 p.m. and will be completed by 5 a.m. at the latest. The detour will be via the Murr through road.

- Tunnel Steingrube in the course of the state road 1100 near Murr in the night from April 22nd to 23rd. The work will begin at 8 p.m. and will be completed by 5 a.m. at the latest. The detour will be via the Murr through road.

- Tunnel Besigheim in the course of the federal highway 27 in Besigheim in the night from April 23 to 24. The work will begin at 8 p.m. and will be completed by 5 a.m. at the latest. The detour will be via the Besigheim through road.

The road maintenance staff will complete the work as quickly as possible in order to keep the tunnel closure times as short as possible. The District Office asks the affected road users for their understanding for the obstructions.
