Upper two asphalt layers are being renewed
On this section of the state road 1110, the upper two asphalt layers from the Böhringer junction to Erlengrund are being renewed. The asphalt structure of the carriageway will also be reinforced to take account of the increased volume of traffic. In addition, preparatory work is taking place at the Böhringen junction itself, for example the installation of mast foundations for a later planned renewal of the traffic lights at this busy junction.
L 1110 provisionally connected to K 1671
During the work currently taking place next to the Böhringer junction, the L 1110 has been provisionally connected to the K 1671, so that the connection from Tamm to Carl-Benz-Straße and vice versa will function again from Sunday. Cyclists will also be able to use the K 1671 / Carl-Benz-Straße junction again to cross the district road. Coming from Bissingen, the Aussiedlerhöfe and the nursery in Erlengrund can be accessed via the one-way service road network. The corresponding local detour is signposted.
During the construction period, inter-urban traffic from the B 27 with destination Bissingen and vice versa will be routed via Carl-Benz-Straße and Bahnhofsstraße to Bissingen to Arnold-Jäger-Straße and vice versa.
District has provided around 0.5 million euros for construction work
The district has allocated around 0.5 million euros from the district road construction program for the construction work.
The district administration asks all road users for their understanding for possible traffic obstructions, especially in the detour area.
