What's behind the city cycling campaign

City Cycling, a campaign organized by Climate Alliance Services, has been taking place since 2008 and last year got more than 220,000 people cycling in Baden-Württemberg alone. Climate Alliance Services complements the organizational structure of the European city network Climate Alliance and bundles advisory services, campaigns and data collection services for the implementation of municipal climate protection measures.

Background information on the Cycling Culture Initiative

The Cycling Culture Initiative wants to encourage people to change their bikes. Because if you cycle, you are doing something good for yourself and at the same time contributing to more environmentally friendly mobility step by step. The focus is on one goal: to make cycling a matter of course through effective and creative communication. To achieve this, the initiative brings movement to cities, municipalities and companies. With campaigns, activities and strong partners, it makes cycling visible, tangible and attractive in everyday life.
