Complete Closure at the Intersection Starting August 4
On Tuesday, August 4, 2026, the third and final phase of construction will begin. It covers the intersection of Hochberger Straße and Bittenfelder Straße and is expected to last until the second half of August. This area must be completely closed off for the work.
The work was deliberately scheduled during the summer break. School buses do not operate during this time, so the impact on bus service can be kept to a minimum.
Shuttle Bus as a Replacement Service
Since the regular bus stops cannot be served during the full closure, the city of Remseck am Neckar is setting up a shuttle bus between Hochdorf, Poppenweiler, and Hochberg. The city of Remseck am Neckar will publish information on schedules and stops in a separate press release at the start of the third construction phase.
Traffic Detours
During the third construction phase, traffic will be rerouted over a wide area:
from the direction of Remseck-Hochberg via the K 1667, K 1849 (Bittenfeld), as well as the K 1909 and K 1673 to Hochdorf
or, alternatively, via the L 1100, the K 1695 (Marbach-Poppenweiler), and the K 1673 to Remseck-Hochdorf.
The detours are signposted in both directions.
Restrictions for Residents
All construction phases will be carried out with full road closures. As a result, access to individual properties may be temporarily restricted or completely impossible. To minimize the disruption to residents as much as possible, the construction project has been divided into several short phases. This ensures that only a few residents are affected by the restrictions at any given time.
The Ludwigsburg District Office and the City of Remseck am Neckar ask all road users and residents for their understanding regarding the unavoidable restrictions during the construction work.
