Panel discussion "Climate protection as a profession: a female perspective" on May 10 at the Cultural Center Defying gender stereotypes

The panel discussion "Climate protection as a profession: a female perspective" organized by the Ludwigsburg Energy Agency (LEA) will take place as part of the FRAUEN INFOTAGE and the solar offensive, in which the district is involved, on Wednesday, 10 May, from 6 to 7.30 pm in the Ludwigsburg Cultural Centre, Small Hall, Wilhelmstraße 9/1.

Five female guests and a female moderator - an unusual picture: women are otherwise often underrepresented in panel discussions. The topic of this panel is the guests themselves, as they are all united by their work in climate protection - despite the gender stereotypes. What stumbling blocks have they encountered in their personal careers? What role do gender stereotypes still play in their everyday lives? What do they find particularly fulfilling about their current role? These and other questions will play a role in the panel discussion.

Participants in the discussion are: Judith Stute, research associate, Fraunhofer Research Institution for Energy Infrastructures and Geothermal Energy IEG, Anne Wallner, plant mechanic, Thomas Glaser Haustechnik, Dr. Kristina Rang, project manager for municipal climate protection, and Sarah Haase, building energy consultant, both LEA e.V., Teresa Krannich, climate protection manager, City of Mühlacker. Lisa Glinski from the LEA will moderate the discussion.

Interested parties are welcome to listen to the exchange of experiences and ask their questions. Participation is free of charge. You can register at www.lea-lb.de.
