The second half of Schiller-vhs’s anniversary year is also packed with courses and events in the Ludwigsburg district and beyond.

Bietigheim Academy Days and a lecture by Sven Plöger are among the highlights

Two special highlights await visitors this winter: On November 17 and 18, the 20th anniversary of the Bietigheim Academy Days will take place at the Kronenzentrum in Bietigheim-Bissingen under the theme “Beyond Our Means! Rethinking Resources: From Consumption to Responsibility.” Six lectures by renowned speakers will provide an opportunity to reflect on resources, consumption, and sustainability. As a second highlight, the Schiller-vhs is pleased to once again welcome certified meteorologist, TV host, and author Sven Plöger to the “K” in Kornwestheim on December 3. In his lecture “Bundle Up—It’s Going to Get Even Hotter,” he will discuss ongoing climate change and ways to cope with it.

“Behind-the-Scenes Tours” as well as health, prevention, and language courses

Interested participants will also find what they’re looking for across all other departments at Schiller-vhs—from “behind-the-scenes” tours of local companies, clubs, and manufacturing facilities to health and prevention courses, language classes, and vocational training—allowing them to satisfy their thirst for knowledge.

Information on all vhs events is available from Schiller-vhs staff at 07141 144-2666. Registration is now open: by phone or online at www.schiller-vhs.de or by email at info[at]schiller-vhs.de.
