The Grönerstraße vaccination center will close at the end of this month. Until then, refugees can still get the coronavirus vaccination there; information sheets in Ukrainian are available. From April 1, the vaccination center will be set up at the Ludwigsburg district office. Refugees who register with the asylum department in the district building will also be able to receive a coronavirus vaccination there.
In addition, a mobile medical practice in a converted vaccination bus has been in operation since Tuesday (29.03.). This will stop at the district's accommodation once a week at a fixed time and offer a GP consultation as well as all vaccinations recommended by the Standing Committee on Vaccination (STIKO). The bus is always accompanied by a pediatrician and a translator. Two treatment stations (couches) including 12-channel ECG and ultrasound equipment as well as separable cabins are available.
The aim is to ensure health care for the Ukrainian refugees. In addition, the vaccinations are intended to enable children to go to school and kindergarten promptly and thus distract them from their traumatic experience of flight.
The dates of the doctor's bus will be posted in the accommodation facilities and can also be found on the district's website at the following link:
