Pedestrian traffic lights to be installed at the B 27 / Im Rosenpark / Bertha-Benz-Straße junction in Kirchheim

To make it easier to cross the Bundestraße 27 near the Lidl supermarket, a new pedestrian crossing will be installed there from September 3.

At the B 27 / Im Rosenpark / Bertha-Benz-Straße junction in Kirchheim am Neckar, the road builders from the district administration will be carrying out civil engineering work for a new pedestrian traffic light from Tuesday, September 3 until probably Friday, September 20. During the construction work, the entrance and exit to Bertha-Benz-Straße and the entrance and exit to Im Rosenpark will have to be closed. The lanes on the main carriageway will be narrowed.

A detour to the industrial area will be signposted via Carl-Benz-Straße and Max-Eyth-Straße. The lane closure at the Im Rosenpark residential area will be lifted during the construction period.

The costs for the construction of the traffic light system amount to around 75,000 euros.

The district administration office asks road users for their understanding for the traffic disruptions.
