New digital payment terminals in two areas of the district hall: pay as easily as at the supermarket checkout

The district recently put two digital payment terminals into operation in order to simplify and speed up payment in the public-intensive district hall areas of vehicle registration and the immigration office.

A person with curly hair is at a self-service kiosk, holding a card in one hand while interacting with the touchscreen display. The machine is used for a service, with various options visible on the screen. The setting appears to be indoors.

The new terminals make cashless payments quick and easy.

One terminal is located on level 3 directly next to the service point of the Foreigners' Registration Office, the second is in the counter area of the vehicle registration office. Citizens can pay their fees quickly and conveniently without cash at these two terminals. This is possible with all major cards or contactless with the corresponding payment apps on the smartphone. With the new payment terminals, paying at the district hall will be as easy as at the supermarket checkout in future.

Designed for services that customers want to complete on site and pay for immediately

The terminals in the district administration office are intended for services that customers want to carry out on site and pay for immediately, such as vehicle registration, the issue of a residence permit or a gun license.

Those who prefer to pay in cash can continue to do so. As before, cash payments can be made at the automatic pay station or at the cash desk in the vehicle registration office.
