After nationwide vaccine release: KIZ Ludwigsburg resumed vaccinations with AstraZeneca on Friday - Canceled appointments will be made up - Employees arrange new appointments with those affected

Vaccinations with AstraZeneca have been released again in Germany since Friday. The Ludwigsburg district vaccination centers (KIZ) responded on the same day by resuming vaccinations with AstraZeneca. In addition, vaccinations with AstraZeneca that were not possible this week due to the temporary AstraZeneca vaccination stop will be made up until next Thursday. As a result, the daily number of AstraZeneca vaccinations will temporarily increase to around 800 during this period.

For those eligible for vaccination whose AstraZeneca appointment has been canceled, the following applies: The KIZ staff will arrange new appointments by telephone with those affected for the period until next Thursday. If someone is unable to accept an appointment during this period, they will be offered an alternative vaccination appointment in around three weeks' time. A new second vaccination appointment will also be arranged at the same time as the new first vaccination appointment.

AstraZeneca appointments that have not been canceled will take place, as will all Biontech appointments.
