The mobile vaccination teams that vaccinate residents of inpatient care facilities in the district are now also allowed to vaccinate residents of outpatient forms of living, such as assisted living, if these outpatient forms of living are located in the same building complex. This has now been announced by the Ministry of Social Affairs. "The district administration has lobbied the Ministry of Social Affairs for this regulation in order to be able to protect the particularly vulnerable group of over-80s as quickly as possible with the vaccination. We are delighted that the Ministry of Social Affairs has followed our suggestion," says District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier.
