Chief emergency physicians reappointed for five years

District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier reappointed the Chief Emergency Physicians (LNA) for a further five years on December 1.

A group of eleven individuals stands together in a room, dressed in uniforms. They appear to be members of a team, possibly emergency responders or municipal workers, with a mix of genders represented. A wooden backdrop and gray carpeting provide context for their gathering.

Major emergencies, crisis situations and pandemics are challenging the public administration more than ever. Reliable and adequate emergency medical services are very important to the Ludwigsburg district administration. The leading emergency doctors are an essential component of this. They take the coordinating lead in large rescue service operations and are available to the administration as advisors on medical issues.

This year alone, the senior emergency doctors were involved in 19 operations. For example, when a World War II bomb was found during construction work in the center of Großbottwar and an evacuation was necessary, or when a torrent triggered by a thunderstorm cell flooded the center of Mundelsheim in May.

A group of 13 senior emergency doctors has been formed in the Ludwigsburg district, made up of doctors from the hospitals and doctors in private practice. The divisional committee for the rescue service in the Ludwigsburg rescue service area also unanimously approved the reappointment. First State Officer Jürgen Vogt thanked the senior emergency doctors for their willingness to take on the role of LNA.
