Ludwigsburg district office launches bus advertising campaign for vaccination

Together with the state-wide vaccination campaign #dranbleiben bw, the Ludwigsburg District Office is launching a bus advertising campaign for vaccination on August 16 on five buses operated by the bus company LVL Jäger GmbH.

Three men in uniforms stand in front of a row of buses, each displaying a colorful advertisement promoting a campaign. The background features a large building. The scene conveys a collaborative effort towards public transportation improvement.

"The focus for the next few weeks is on getting even more people to get vaccinated," says District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier at the bus presentation at the depot of bus company LVL Jäger. According to Allgaier, there is enough vaccine available, so people should take the opportunity to get vaccinated now, also in view of the 3G requirements that have been in force in Baden-Württemberg since today. Together with the organizational head of the district vaccination centers, Andy Dorroch, the district administrator was on site to take a personal look at the five printed buses and send them out on city transport for the campaign launch.

With a personalized poster of the state-wide vaccination campaign #dranbleiben bw, the buses with stickers on the rear will draw the attention of citizens in the city area to the vaccination offer at the Ludwigsburg district vaccination centers over the next four weeks. KWS Verkehrsmittelwerbung GmbH, which is responsible for bus advertising in Ludwigsburg, quickly and smoothly applied the campaign to the buses.

The mobile vaccination bus campaign, which ended last week, shows that vaccination campaigns are successful during the pandemic. Within four weeks, around 6,000 people were spontaneously vaccinated at various locations in the district. The two district vaccination centers have also been vaccinating people daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. without an appointment since 12 July. Due to the spread of the highly contagious delta variant, vaccination is particularly important for the younger population.
