After graduating from high school and completing his military service, Andreas Eschbach earned a degree in public administration from the University of Applied Sciences in Ludwigsburg.
From 1987 to 2009, he headed the municipal administration of Oberstenfeld and, concurrently, served part-time from 2006 to 2009 as a lecturer for the in-service training program (dzU) and the introductory course on municipal law and municipal constitutional law at the Ludwigsburg District Office. From 2009 to 2019, Andreas Eschbach served as head of the General and Personnel Office of the City of Neckarsulm.
Since January 1, 2020, he has served as head of the Central Management and Administration Division at the Ludwigsburg District Office, and since October 1, 2021, as head of the Central Management and Schools Division.
As he approaches retirement, District Administrator Dietmar says: “All the best for this new chapter in your life! I wish you good health, much joy, and plenty of time and leisure for your family and hobbies.”
Jutta Kremer-Weig will become the new head of the Department of Central Management and Schools. She will assume the position on August 1, 2026.
