Interested visitors were able to find out about current trends and travel destinations at the Stadthalle Zwickau from January 19 to 21. On over 2,000 square meters of exhibition space, tour operators and travel agencies provided information on topics relating to travel, active leisure activities and relaxation.

The special show "Healthy and Active" informed trade fair visitors about methods for a sustainable and holistically healthy lifestyle. Offers on medicine and medical technology, orthopaedics, wellness and beauty as well as traditional natural healing methods could be tested free of charge. The Zwickau travel fair attracted almost 10,000 visitors.

District represented at trade fair with hiking, cycling and leisure program

At the invitation of the partner district of Zwickau, the district of Ludwigsburg presented its hiking, cycling and leisure program as a guest at the joint stand of the district of Zwickau. A variety of cycling and hiking maps offered interested parties the opportunity to plan their upcoming vacations.

"The travel fair in Zwickau is an integral part of our annual trade fair planning. I am personally very pleased that the great interest shown by visitors to the trade fair in our tourism offers means that the district partnership with the district of Zwickau is being actively and successfully put into practice," said Stefanie Bartzsch, Head of the District Development, Climate Protection, Mobility and Tourism Department at the Ludwigsburg District Office. Visitors to the stand were also able to find out about the "Echt.Schön.Schräg." steep slope app from the district of Ludwigsburg.

Action stage provided information about the steep slopes in the district of Ludwigsburg

On each day of the trade fair, district office employees Anna-Lena Heimerdinger and Martina Fehrenbach invited interested visitors to play a game on the wheel of fortune of the "Echt.Schön.Schräg." umbrella brand, in keeping with the theme of steep slopes. Young and old alike were able to enjoy attractive prizes related to wine and steep slopes. Wine coolers and mobile wine pourers were raffled off, and there were wooden spinning tops and sweets for children. The Ludwigsburg district's anniversary wine was also sold exclusively at the travel fair.

The staff of the Ludwigsburg district also provided information about the steep slopes, the steep slope app and the tourist offer in the district on the action stage at the Zwickau travel fair. The Ludwigsburg Heroes' Forge film was also shown. In the film, interested hobby winegrowers are accompanied for a year during their introduction to viticulture. Over the course of a year, the project teaches them everything they need to know about winegrowing with the aim of preserving the terraced vineyard slopes along the Neckar in Ludwigsburg.

After the successful trade fair appearance in Zwickau, the Ludwigsburg district tourism team is hoping for a large number of guests from the district of Zwickau and is already looking forward to the Zwickau 2025 travel fair.
