Short-term closures of recycling centers are possible

During the summer break, some recycling centers in the county may have to close on short notice due to staffing shortages. Residents are therefore asked to check whether the recycling center in question is open before bringing in their recyclables.

AVL is working hard to maintain operations at all locations. However, absences due to illness and the vacation season may require last-minute adjustments.

To avoid unnecessary trips, AVL recommends that all residents check the current situation before visiting a recycling center. Information on possible closures will be posted promptly on the website and in the AVL Service+ app.
