Art in the Kreishaus: "Werkschau #10 - ORTE" by the Kunstverein Korntal-Münchingen from August 3 The plurality of places will be shown

"PLACES" in numerous facets are the theme of the new exhibition Werkschau #10 by the Korntal-Münchingen Art Association in the "Art in the District Hall" series at the district administration office. The show will open on August 3 at 7 p.m. in the district hall foyer. All those interested in art are welcome to attend. The exhibition can be viewed on levels 2 to 9 of the Ludwigsburg district hall, Hindenburgstraße 40, during normal opening hours. It runs up to and including October 12.

A total of 18 artists are showing the results of their work on the theme of "PLACES". The spectrum ranges from paintings and photographs to sculptures. "There is something for every taste. We are delighted that the members of the Korntal-Münchingen Art Association are now guests in the district hall for the fourth time after 1994, 1996 and 2013," says District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier, who will open the exhibition on Thursday, August 3, at 7 p.m. in the district hall foyer. Afterwards, art historian Nicole Raichle will introduce the exhibition. Ben Reichert will provide the musical accompaniment to the vernissage with guitar and vocals.

The title "ORTE" of the exhibition was chosen so that the artists had a theme, but were deliberately left open as to how they would implement the theme. According to the Kunstverein: "The term places can be interpreted in many ways. The aim of this exhibition is to make it visible in all its diversity. Places can be walked through and experienced, they can be located in the here and now, inscribed in the memory or arise from the imagination. In addition to their physical assignment, there are the most diverse interpretations. Every individual has their own idea of a place. The exhibition aims to show this plurality."

Art tours with exhibiting artists will take place on Thursdays, August 24 and September 21, at 3 pm. The meeting point is the foyer of the Ludwigsburg Kreishaus, Hindenburgstraße 40. Registration is not necessary.
