Transparent production: pumpkin festival and harvest thanksgiving

On Sunday, October 9, Martin Linckh's farm is celebrating an open day with a farm festival. In addition to games for children and culinary delights for everyone, there will also be lots of interesting facts about farming to discover.

A display of various pumpkins and gourds is featured, arranged on straw bales and wooden crates. A poster on the wall showcases illustrations of pumpkins. Additionally, there are small signs providing information about the displayed items. The setting appears to be an outdoor market or festival.

The Linckh family invites you to their farm in Pulverdingen (Pulverdingen 22 in 71665 Vaihingen/Enz) on Sunday, October 9. The open day will begin at 9.30 a.m. with a joint Thanksgiving service held by Pastor Jochen Hägele from the Protestant parish of Enzweihingen. The trombone choir and kindergarten will provide a festive accompaniment to the service.

Visitors can expect a colorful and varied offer at the subsequent farm festival with guided tours, information stands and much more from the Middle Neckar Nutrition Center and a market from the region. Younger guests can look forward to pumpkin carving and painting, pony rides, a petting zoo, a straw bouncy castle and a tractor course. Agricultural machinery from the contracting company can be viewed in the large exhibition. The entire farmyard area will shine in the autumnal colors of the Linckh farm's freshly harvested pumpkins. The Linckh family will provide food and drink from their own production, such as pumpkin soup, Kässpätzle, meat pancakes, steak and sausages. The Enzweihingen countrywomen will spoil guests with coffee and delicious cakes. A wine stand from the Walz winery in Ensingen, crêpes and dinners round off the culinary offerings. The farm store is open.

On Saturday, October 8, the Landjugend des Enzkreises invites you to a party on the farm from 8 pm (admission five euros).
