Saturday, July 6, 2024: Guided tour of the Kiemle nursery, Bietigheim-Bissingen, starting at 9:30 a.m.
The Kiemle family business has been active in horticulture since 1925 - a great deal of expertise and a good reason to give interested parties an insight into the company. The wide range of vegetables and herbs is cultivated under glass as well as in foil tunnels and in the open. Cultivation in harmony with nature is a very important topic on the farm.
Visitors learn how the vegetables are grown and gain an insight into the diversity and sustainability of production. Cost 10 euros/person (proceeds go to the Pro-Waisenhaus Dr. Amanatidis - Südostasien e.V. foundation).
Registrations by Monday, July 1, by email entdeckungstour[at]gaertnerei-kiemle.de or by telephone on 07142 778419 (mornings).
