Winners of the "Landkreisfeschd" climate protection rally have been announced District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier: "The climate protection rally was a complete success"

Visitors to the "Landkreisfeschd" on June 24 and 25 were able to take part in a climate protection rally. The 32 winners have now been drawn. The main prize was a 2,000 euro voucher for Fahrradhaus Winter in Ludwigsburg, provided by Kreissparkasse Ludwigsburg. "The climate protection rally was a complete success. It is part of the district's wide range of activities in this area - the district office itself is also on the way to climate neutrality by 2035 and recently introduced climate pilots in all departments as well as the bicycle mileage allowance for employees. We are currently drawing up a climate mobility plan. As strong partnerships are also needed for successful climate protection, a climate conference with cities and municipalities and their partner regions around the world is planned for next year. The district's climate protection strategy is being continuously developed," said District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier.

Around a week after the "Landkreisfeschd" to mark the 50th anniversary of the Ludwigsburg district, the winners of the climate protection rally were drawn at the Ludwigsburg district office. "The rally was really well received. More than 150 slips of paper ended up in the draw box," said a delighted Daniela Klein from the climate protection team, who developed the rally. The main prize was drawn by District Administrator Allgaier.

Carina Niemann was delighted to receive a 2000 euro voucher for the Winter bicycle store in Ludwigsburg. The main prize was provided by Kreissparkasse Ludwigsburg. The other 31 winners were also drawn afterwards. They will be notified promptly by e-mail. In addition to the bicycle voucher, the prizes included a ticket to Germany, twelve solar glasses plus a guided tour of the solar thermal plant on Ludwigsburg's Römerhügel, gift baskets and sustainable drinking bottles. These prizes were contributed by Stadtwerke Ludwigsburg-Kornwestheim (SWLB), Verkehrs- und Tarifverbund Stuttgart (VVS), Unverpacktladen ohne PlaPla and Bio-Musterregion Ludwigsburg-Stuttgart.

The topic of climate protection was present in many places at the "Landkreisfeschd"at the end of Juneon the campus around the Ludwigsburg district office. The climate protection rally in particular was impossible to miss with its turquoise-blue handprint logo. The rally was based on the idea of the Climate Handprint, the positive addition to theCO2 footprint. The handprint stands for what each individual does to protect the climate: their own actions and support for social change. The aim of the rally was to show visitors how they can take action to protect the climate. In order to take part in the competition, five stamps were required on the "Landkreisfeschd" run sheet.
