To counter the rising number of infections in the coronavirus pandemic, vaccination campaigns are currently being stepped up again in the district of Ludwigsburg. The vaccination task force recently set up by the district has coordinated appointments in many towns and municipalities in the district, where mobile vaccination teams are offering booster and primary vaccinations. All capacities are also being used at GP surgeries to meet the high demand for vaccinations. Vaccination has a key role to play in overcoming the coronavirus pandemic.
Due to the highly dynamic nature of the infection process, every bit of help is needed; every single vaccination helps society to cope better with the winter months and reduce the number of infections in the long term. Last early summer and summer already showed what a major contribution companies can make to this task for society as a whole. "We are calling on companies to support public activities by offering vaccinations in the workplace. The commitment of companies in the Ludwigsburg district has already been a strength of the location in the past. We are therefore asking entrepreneurs in the district to step up their activities in this area once again," said District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier, addressing the district's businesses. "Vaccinations at company level enjoy a high level of acceptance and contribute to accelerating the vaccination coverage of the population. This is very important now. Larger and neighboring smaller companies can also cooperate," adds Thomas Wiesbauer, President of the Ludwigsburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry. "I can also well imagine that suitable locations for an increasing number of mobile vaccination teams can be made available in larger business parks," Wiesbauer continues.
