Together for climate protection: citizens are also needed

The climate protection concept for the district of Ludwigsburg is currently being updated and fundamentally revised. In order to involve citizens in this process, the kick-off for citizen participation will take place on Friday, March 8, as part of the "Partnerships for Climate Action" climate forum.

From March 6 to 8, 2024, the Ludwigsburg District Office will be the venue for the municipal forum "Partnerships for Climate Action". Over three days, participants will address the topics of climate protection and climate adaptation.

The third day of the climate forum, Friday, March 8, is aimed specifically at citizens. In addition to space for networking, there will be the opportunity to actively contribute to updating the climate protection concept. The final day of the climate forum with an integrated kick-off for public participation will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Kreishaus at Hindenburgstraße 40.

What interested parties can expect:

  • Information on the current status of climate protection in the district of Ludwigsburg: What are the challenges? What are the next steps? How can we move from knowledge to action together?
  • Networking and exchange at various discussion islands
  • Participants can contribute their own ideas, wishes and suggestions

Participation is free of charge

The program on the third day of the Climate Forum also includes an interview with District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier, a lecture by Prof. Dr. Maike Sippel on the "Climate Heads" project and the awarding of the district prize for the "Municipal Climate Scouts" 2023/24

Catering will be provided and participation is free of charge. Places are limited.
