The second Late Harvest Market Day starts with a focus on insects: The Landscape Conservation Association has organized the theme day "Indispensable diversity: insects and agriculture" on Tuesday, 7 November, from 2.15 pm in the large meeting room. A lecture, a stirring film and a subsequent panel discussion round off the program.
Family day and beer tasting: what's on offer at the Spätlingsmarkt on Wednesday
On Wednesday, November 8, families and especially the youngest visitors to the Spätlingsmarkt will get their money's worth. The stall operators have numerous offers for children and interested adults. On this day, the climate-friendly and free shuttle service with a horse-drawn carriage from Ludwigsburg train station to the Ludwigsburg District Office can also be used.
There is also something for moms and dads on Wednesday: From 4.30 p.m., there will be a beer tasting in the large conference room. Beer sommelier Clemens Thüsing from s'Esele-Bier in Asperg will be hosting a beer tasting with beers from the partner districts in Saxony, Italy, France, Hungary and Israel. The event is already fully booked.
Fruit brandy award and sausage quality test invite you to taste on Thursday
On Thursday, November 9, at 5 p.m., the awards for the most outstanding brandies in the district will be presented in the atrium of the new building. On this evening, the stand operators will present their donations to the Gemeinsam e.V. association. You can also look forward to an inspiring presentation by young winegrowers, who will present their wine and sparkling wine specialties from the district.
In keeping with the high spirits, sausages will also be awarded prizes at the district administration office on Thursday. The sausage quality test will take place in the large conference room from 4 pm. The Böblingen-Ludwigsburg Butchers' Guild and the specialist butchers welcome visitors to the Spätlingsmarkt to the 15th public sausage quality test. This event has become a magnet for visitors: In addition to interesting information on the criteria and the differences in quality, there are also plenty of samples for visitors to the Spätlingsmarkt
. Head chef Wolfgang Herbst demonstrates that the artisan sausage specialties from Swabia are a real treat.
Cabaret artist Bernd Kohlhepp provides laughs at the traditional wine tasting
What would the Spätlingsmarkt be without the traditional wine tasting? On Friday, November 10, from 3 p.m. in the large meeting room, exquisite wines from young winegrowers from Hohenhaslach can be sampled together with culinary Hungarian specialties. Cabaret artist Bernd Kohlhepp will provide fun and entertainment with his program "Hämmerle kommt". The cost contribution is 30 euros per person. Remaining tickets are still available for last-minute bookers.
You can leave your car at home on Thursday and Friday, November 9 and 10. On both days, three rickshaws will drive from the train station via Wilhelmstraße to the Spätlingsmarkt and back again. Transportation is free of charge.
