Job Center's first training fair supports young people with their personal "Plan A"

Under the motto "Plan A", the Ludwigsburg district job center's training fair had its premiere on February 18 at the Ludwigsburg Cultural Center. For three hours, around 300 young people gathered information from a total of 30 companies about their training opportunities and benefited from a varied supporting program.

"Plan A" - that doesn't just mean "A" for training, but also looking for a suitable training place in good time so that you don't "only" get your second choice. The Jobcenter's training fair had plenty to offer young people: Everyone could imagine something from the classic job profiles, from gardener to mechatronics technician to nurse. However, exotic-sounding professions such as "fish farmer" were also represented. In addition to training advice from the job center, visitors were able to research professions in the database and even take aptitude tests. The education office of the Ludwigsburg district office presented the "Wegweiser Beruf" (career guide) and the district's vocational schools presented their training opportunities.

Another offer that many young people took advantage of was the Job Center's "Application Check". Participants were able to have their application documents professionally checked on site and then present them directly to potential employers. Some training contracts were concluded in this way at the "Plan A" careers fair. Overall, the Jobcenter's first training fair in this new format was very successful and helped young people to realize their personal "Plan A".
