Nutrition Center Mittlerer Neckar brings regional power to the stage at the Slow Food Fair

When it comes to superfoods, many people think of chia, goji or açai - but the real powerhouses grow right on our doorstep. This is exactly where the Middle Neckar Nutrition Center in the district office comes in: With an interactive stand at the Slow Food Messe 2026 in Stuttgart from April 9 to 12, it will be showing just how diverse and valuable local foods are.

Trade fair appearance with added value: inform, try, join in

Under the motto "Super (our) food", the nutrition center invites visitors to discover regional alternatives to exotic trends. A mixture of information, enjoyment and hands-on activities awaits guests at the stand: From exciting insights into the ingredients of local foods to creative recipe ideas and small samples that prove how delicious regionality can be.

Playful learning: test your knowledge and discover new things

There will also be plenty of fun: interested visitors can test their knowledge with quizzes and a matching game and find out which local products can replace exotic "superfoods" - including the chance to win a great prize.

"With its trade fair presence, the Middle Neckar Nutrition Center is sending out a clear signal for sustainable nutrition, regionality and conscious enjoyment. The aim is to inspire consumers to eat local food more often - which is good for their health, the environment and the region," says the head of the nutrition center, Ludmilla Scheel.
