DigitalPakt: District school board receives 120,000 euros from uncommitted residual funds

The district of Ludwigsburg will receive 120,100 euros from untied residual funds from the Digital Pact 2019-2024. The state Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport recently informed the district of this in a letter. As the school authority for vocational schools and special schools, the district had applied to increase its approved budget. The additional funds will increase the total budget to around 4.64 million euros. The funds can be drawn down until the end of 2024.

The application deadline for the DigitalPakt ended on April 30, 2022. 98% of the available funding volume has been committed through approvals. In order to distribute the remaining uncommitted funds of 11 million euros, the ministry had created the option for school authorities to increase the previous budget from the Digital Pact.

The school authorities' budget is not tied to specific schools. A certified media development plan must be submitted for each school for which an application is made. Measures may be billed in the funding period from May 17, 2019 to December 31, 2024.
