AVL informs: Residual and organic waste disposal: 4 additional vehicles and further special tours announced by ALBA - Place unemptied garbage cans at the roadside for emptying

Following a further top-level meeting between the AVL management and ALBA Süd, four additional vehicles are now on the road in the district for the disposal of residual and organic waste. These additional vehicles are working on the complaints that AVL has received over the last few days. ALBA has also given assurances that special disposal tours will be carried out again on Saturday, January 29, 2022. To this end, ALBA requests that any waste garbage cans that have not yet been emptied continue to be placed on the street for emptying.

"The number of complaints at the AVL Service Center is falling slightly, which is basically a good sign. Nevertheless, I expect things to return to normal as soon as possible," says District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier on the ALBA announcement. AVL continues to support ALBA as best it can.

The large residual waste containers (so-called 4-wheel containers), which can also be collected from the container site at the customer's request subject to certain local conditions, are still causing somewhat greater problems. Last year, AVL wrote to all of these customers asking them to specify the exact location. All feedback received by AVL was immediately made available to ALBA, but according to feedback from citizens, the implementation is not yet working satisfactorily. AVL has expressly drawn ALBA's attention to these tours once again.
