Corona pandemic: 120 employees of the district administration office are currently strengthening the contact tracing team - District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier: This will result in longer processing times in all areas of the district administration office

The district administration office has now seconded 120 employees from all areas of the company for the task of contact tracing during the coronavirus pandemic. "We have taken these employees away from their actual work. Over the next few weeks, they will focus exclusively on the important task of contact tracing. We would like to expressly point out that this will result in longer processing times in all areas of the district administration office. We ask for your understanding in this exceptional situation," says District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier.

As the number of infections in the district continues to rise, the need for staff in the contact tracing team continues to increase, and with it the processing time. Together with the deployed Bundeswehr soldiers and other externally contracted employees, the contact tracing team at the district council's health department currently consists of 210 people and a further ten volunteers at weekends.
