Public participation for LUCIE: On-site meeting on the light rail line in Oßweil on July 14

The public participation for LUCIE, the Ludwigsburg City Express, continues. Interested parties can now find out how the planned route in Oßweil will run at an on-site meeting on July 14.

The name Ludwigsburger City-Express, LUCIE for short, stands for the largest rail infrastructure project in the district of Ludwigsburg - the planned light rail system. Before embarking on preliminary planning, the Stadtbahn-Zweckverband and its project partner municipalities launched a comprehensive public dialog. Following the kick-off in Weststadt, a further site visit will now take place in Ludwigsburg on Friday, July 14. The planned light rail section from Berliner Platz to Oßweil will be inspected.

The team from the Stadtbahn special-purpose association and Mayor Sebastian Mannl will present the project at selected locations and be available for a discussion. The meeting point is at 6 p.m. at Berliner Platz 1 in front of the Stadionbad.

Further stops along the route will be at around 6.40 pm at the Schorndorfer Straße/Friesenstraße traffic circle, at around 7.05 pm at Fuchshofstraße 66/Feldweg on the corner of Niedersachsenstraße, at around 7.35 pm at the Kornwestheimer Straße/Crailsheimer Weg junction and at around 8.05 pm at Fellbacher Straße 21. It is also possible to join the tour at the individual stops. However, those responsible ask for your understanding if there are any delays.

The team of the Stadtbahn-Zweckverband and those responsible for the city of Ludwigsburg are looking forward to the dialog with the citizens. If you would like to take part in the route inspection, the City of Ludwigsburg would ask you to register by sending an e-mail to stadtbahn[at]ludwigsburg.de, stating the number of people attending.
