"The new peak incidence figures show how strongly the highly contagious Omikron variant of the coronavirus is currently spreading in the district - we must counteract this with vaccinations and exit restrictions for non-immunized people. I hope that in this way we can break the fifth wave in the foreseeable future and prevent our hospitals from being overloaded," says District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier.
From now on, people who have not recovered and have not been vaccinated may only leave their home or other accommodation in the Ludwigsburg district between 9 pm and 5 am if one of the following valid reasons applies:
- Averting a specific danger to life, limb or property.
- Attendance at events such as:
- Committee meetings of legal entities, societies and comparable associations.
- Events that serve to maintain public safety and order or social welfare.
- Events in the area of child and youth welfare.
- Events and meetings of bodies, parts of bodies and other committees of the legislative, judicial and executive branches.
- Events and meetings of the organs, bodies and other committees of self-government as well as nomination and election campaign events and the necessary collection of signatures of support for local elections, referendums, petitions for referendums, petitions for citizens' initiatives, residents' petitions and residents' meetings.
- Assemblies in accordance with Article 8 of the Basic Law.
- Events of religious and ideological communities.
- Exercise of professional and official activities, including professional, official or academic training that cannot be postponed, labor market policy measures and the participation of volunteers in fire department, disaster control and rescue service exercises and operations.
- Visiting spouses, life partners and partners in a non-marital partnership in their home or other accommodation.
- Use of medical, nursing, therapeutic and veterinary services.
- Accompanying and caring for persons in need of support and minors, in particular exercising custody and rights of access in the respective private sphere.
