Integreat app for new immigrants is now available in the district

The Integreat app for the district of Ludwigsburg goes online this week. The app provides a wealth of information for new immigrants in the district of Ludwigsburg.

Three individuals stand together, each holding promotional materials for a local information app. They are in a crowded room with an audience in the background. The setting suggests a community event focusing on local engagement and resources.

At the launch of the Integreat app: Daniel Kehne from the technical app operator digital factory, Head of Social Affairs Heiner Pfrommer and Rasha Odeh, Education Coordinator at the district (from left).

The digital platform is a service provided by the Ludwigsburg district in cooperation with the towns and municipalities. It is aimed specifically at new immigrants, but also at volunteers and professionals who want to find information and guidance independently in their local area.

The offer bundles general information, specific contact points and offers for the entire district, sorted according to the respective municipalities and topics. The services are presented in a target group-oriented, structured and transparent manner. The content is translated into four languages: English, Arabic, Farsi and Romanian. The content of the free app can be accessed offline, as a web version on the PC or as a download. The platform also offers interfaces to the apprenticeship radar, the IHK apprenticeship exchange and the IHK internship exchange. It acts as a guide to a wide range of offers and institutions. In future, the app's calendar function will also be available for events and news.

The content is divided into the subject areas of language, education, training and careers, children, youth and family, health and various aspects of everyday life and leisure activities. "Successful integration is important for the cohesion of our society. With the Integreat app, the district is making a contribution to this. The app cannot replace personal contact. However, it is intended to facilitate this by providing comprehensive information and breaking down barriers," says Heiner Pfrommer, Head of Social Affairs.

According to Integreat, the district of Ludwigsburg now offers the most comprehensive range of services of all the municipalities and districts represented on Integreat throughout Germany thanks to the lively and positive participation of various stakeholders from the district.

Advertising material is available from the Office for Education and Integration at the Ludwigsburg District Office. The initiators are looking forward to further publicity and support.
