Vaccination cannot be guaranteed: Vaccinations will take place until the daily maximum has been reached. There may be waiting times for vaccinations without an appointment. On site, you can choose between an mRNA vaccine (Moderna or BionTech, depending on availability) and the heterologous vaccination schedule with AstraZeneca. The second vaccination appointments will then be allocated on site.
From Monday, July 12, people who have a 2nd appointment from July 19 can also bring it forward and come to the Ludwigsburg district vaccination centers (KIZ) without an appointment. The prerequisite for an early 2nd vaccination is that the minimum interval between vaccinations is observed: At least 3 weeks for BioNTech/Pfizer and at least 4 weeks for the Moderna vaccine. If a second vaccination with AstraZeneca is desired after a first vaccination with the AstraZeneca vaccine, the vaccination interval is 9 to 12 weeks. However, in accordance with the STIKO recommendation, the second vaccination with AstraZeneca can also be given after at least 4 weeks using a heterologous vaccination schedule (second vaccination with an mRNA vaccine).
Vaccinations with appointments will continue to take place as agreed.
Vaccinations without an appointment from July 12
The Ludwigsburg district vaccination centers (KIZ) will also be vaccinating without an appointment from July 12. Interested citizens can come to the vaccination center without an appointment. The campaign starts every day at 9 a.m. at the KIZ Ludwigsburg, Grönerstraße 33.
