Expressive Sandplay: Information Session

Expressive sandplay offers refugee children a space to process traumatic experiences. The goal is to activate the children’s innate psychological healing abilities and strengthen their resilience. Each support person is assigned to one child for the entire duration of the project. About ten children between the ages of 6 and 13 participate in each project cycle. A cycle consists of eleven to twelve weekly sessions.

Project end: December 14, 2026

The two-day training session for volunteer mentors will take place on Friday, September 18, and Saturday, September 19, 2026, in Ludwigsburg.
The weekly sessions—except during school breaks—are always held on Mondays starting at 4:30 p.m. at the District Administration Office.
