UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in the district: progress and challenges

"15 years of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities - Where do we stand?" - The district of Ludwigsburg will be asking this question at this year's ninth Inclusion Conference, which will take place on November 27, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Scala Ludwigsburg. Citizens are cordially invited to attend.

What has changed in the Ludwigsburg district since the introduction of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities? What is still missing for full implementation? Professor Dr. Sandra Fietkau, Dean at the Protestant University of Applied Sciences Ludwigsburg and Claudia Lychacz, municipal representative for the disabled in the district of Ludwigsburg, talk about current developments in Baden-Württemberg and in the district.

Experts report on inclusion in associations and personal experiences

Antonio Florio from the association "Selbstbestimmt Leben im Landkreis Ludwigsburg e.V." will provide insights into the association sector and what the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities means for associations in the area of inclusion.

The Wilde Bühne e.V. improv theater will provide entertainment between the presentations.
