Strohgäubahn closed between Schwieberdingen and Heimderingen during the summer period

In order to better connect the Hälde residential area in Hemmingen, a railroad overpass will be built from July 29 to September 1. The Strohgäubahn will be replaced by buses between Schwieberdingen and Heimerdingen during the construction work.

A bright yellow train with a green design travels along a railway amidst a field of dandelions. The landscape features lush grass and a tree in the background, suggesting a rural setting under a partly cloudy sky.

The municipality of Hemmingen is building a railroad overpass in the area of the residential area "Hälde" during the summer vacations from 29.07.-01.09.2019. The tracks of the Strohgäubahn must therefore be interrupted during this time, so that no train traffic is possible between Schwieberdingen and Heimerdingen. Buses will be used as a substitute in this section.

The Strohgäubahn will run at the usual times between Korntal and Schwieberdingen. At Schwieberdingen station there is a short connection to the SEV bus to Heimerdingen. The bus stops in Hemmingen at the "Hälde" and "Rathaus" stops. In Heimerdingen the bus stops at the bus stops "Hemminger Straße", "Weissacher Straße" and "Wiesenäcker Straße". Passengers should note the changed departure times and locations of the buses.

During the construction work, there may be increased noise emissions in Hemmingen in the "Hälde" area.

The SEV timetables can be found at www.vvs.de and www.weg-bahn.de.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
