Roadworks will be carried out on the L 1110 at the junction of the K 1641 to Spielberg from Wednesday, November 15. The section of road between the junction to Spielberg and Ochsenbach will have to be fully closed again for approximately one week. The closure is necessary in order to remove the asphalted temporary road in the area of the junction to Spielberg, which served as a detour during the construction period. The plan is to then rebuild the footpath and cycle path slightly away from the carriageway and thus increase safety for pedestrians in the junction area.
As was the case before the fall vacations, traffic can continue to travel between Spielberg and Hohenhaslach on the L 1110 and K 1641 under traffic light control. In order to create a sufficiently large construction area during the work directly at the edge of the road, traffic will be controlled by traffic lights. Due to the expected detour traffic, parking will again be prohibited along the K 1641 in Spielberg.
Bus stops at the Bromberghof are to be rebuilt by the end of November
At the same time, the two bus stops at Bromberghof will also be rebuilt to make them handicapped accessible and will be completed by the end of November. The missing road markings between Hohenhaslach and the junction to Spielberg will also be installed by the end of November, weather permitting.
The district is implementing the measure for the state so that this section of road, which is maintained by the district, is also restored to a good condition. The state is providing around 800,000 euros for the renovation work.
The district authority asks all road users for their understanding for any traffic obstructions, especially in the detour area.
