Ministry of Social Affairs supports the Ludwigsburg district vaccination centers with Moderna vaccine

Good news for the two district vaccination centers in Ludwigsburg. A total of 5,000 doses of the Moderna vaccine will be made available from the state's central vaccination center in Mannheim. District Administrator Allgaier: "I would like to thank the state for its short-term and pragmatic support. But we also urgently need more vaccine to be able to offer further initial vaccination appointments."

This additional vaccine from the state will be vaccinated within the next seven days, starting directly on Friday, May 7. Thanks to the support of the state, 540 new initial vaccination appointments could be offered again yesterday at short notice. The appointments were allocated within a few minutes.

The additional delivery means that from tomorrow, Friday, a total of almost 1,100 vaccinations per day can be carried out in the two district vaccination centers, spread over the three vaccines Biontech, Moderna and Astrazeneca. However, the vaccine in the district vaccination centers in Ludwigsburg is in short supply despite the additional delivery. Therefore, no new first vaccination appointments can currently be offered from May 14. However, existing first and second vaccination appointments will continue to take place as normal.
