Company summer vacancies still available at more than 40 employers in the district

Using the vacations as a young person for your own professional future - this opportunity is once again offered this year by the company summer, a free project of the Ludwigsburg district education region, which has now firmly established itself as a career guidance offer. This year, more than 80 employers are taking part for the first time. "We are delighted that more and more employers from the entire district are taking the opportunity to get in touch with school pupils at an early stage to provide information about their apprenticeships and promote them," says Markus Schmitt from the summer company team.

During the company summer you can gain practical experience in the companies.

The company summer is therefore a good addition to the internships during the school years. With over 300 training occupations, pupils should get a taste of as many occupations and sectors as possible in order to make a good decision when choosing a career.

After all, these are often less well-known professions that can be very exciting and offer good prospects. At the company summer, for example, young people can get to know the professions of geomatics technician or technical model maker. The large number of attractive professions also shows that training can be a real alternative to studying.

And this is how the company summer works: the employers present themselves and their taster days at www.firmensommer.de and indicate which professions you can learn with them. "Interested parties can filter by date, sector or profession. Young people can register for up to three professions at www.firmensommer.de. Dual study courses are also presented by individual employers," explains Vivien Adolph from the Firmensommer team.

Employers from various sectors take part in the company summer. Many smaller companies, such as bakeries and plumbers, are also taking part. The trainees usually take on very varied and diverse tasks and are often given responsibility. This is a good reason to take advantage of the company summer offers from smaller companies to get a taste of what it's like.

Interested pupils should not hesitate, as registration on the company summer platform must be completed by one week before the event. Especially for the offers at the beginning of the summer vacation, you should register as soon as possible so that it is not too late.

The internet platform was made possible with the kind support of the "Jugend-förderung, Arbeit und Soziales" foundation of Kreissparkasse Ludwigsburg and the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Economic Affairs. Cooperation partners are the Ludwigsburg District Skilled Workers Alliance, the Ludwigsburg Employment Agency, the Ludwigsburg Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the Ludwigsburg District Craftsmen's Association and the Ludwigsburg State Education Authority.
