New platform for internships and taster days

Which profession suits me? Many young people ask themselves this question. The new internship platform of the Ludwigsburg district education region www.erlebe-berufe.de is here to help.

A collage of five individuals representing different professions: a nurse, a construction worker, a chef, an office worker, and a woman holding plants. The text encourages finding internships with the message, "Find your internship!" and directs users to a website for more information.

It is a real challenge to find the right one from over 300 training occupations.
On the other hand, more and more employers are desperately looking for junior staff.
The internet portal
www.erlebe-berufe.de offers a new way of offering taster days and internships throughout the year. "Our new platform is a good opportunity for young
people to get to know professions and employers. I would like to thank all cooperation partners,
who work in the Ludwigsburg district education region and have made the new internet platform
possible," says District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier, delighted with the new service.

More than 70 employers from all sectors are already represented at the launch and more are constantly being added to
. The special thing about the free platform is its great flexibility. Young people
can find offers all year round: School internships, vacation internships and taster days
during the vacations. "For school internships, students choose an offer from
and contact the employer directly. For vacation internships and vacation taster days
, they create a user account and book the offer via the online portal," explains
Markus Schmitt from the district's education office, which operates the platform.

The online portal was developed with the employment agency, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the schools and the company
Konzelmann as a representative of the employers. "Thanks to the close collaboration with
these and other cooperation partners, the schools and
pupils learn first-hand about the new career guidance offer. In the next step
, we would like to inform as many parents as possible, who are important advisors in the career choice process of their
children, about the platform," says Beate Jacobsen from the Erlebe-Berufe team.

The filters age, school, occupational field, type of internship, time period and desired school-leaving qualification
generate suggestions. One click takes you directly to the employer's page with detailed information.
"Each employer designs the internship individually. Young people can often get involved in longer
internships. During a taster day, employers offer
guided tours, present their professions and offer interviews with trainees.
In addition to apprenticeships, employers can also present dual study programs,"
reports Markus Schmitt from the education office.

In addition to popular specializations such as medical assistant, office management assistant
or automotive mechatronics technician and IT specialist, a wide range of professions that were not initially on the shortlist
can be found on www.erlebe-berufe.de.

The internet platform was made possible in close cooperation with the skilled labor alliance
Ludwigsburg and with the support of the state's Ministry of Economic Affairs. Further
